We’re a little delayed in sharing this post because, honestly, it’s hard to find the right words.
On September 19th, we had the privilege of being part of something truly extraordinary.
One of our own, John Holzscheiter, and his family/friends host an incredible charitable event each year called Afterglow, created in memory of John’s late son, AJ. Through the Afterglow Foundation, John has built a mission centered around su***de awareness and supporting organizations that are actively working every day to provide resources, hope, and support to those who need it most.
At this year’s Afterglow event, our CEO, Randy Raner, and Khrista Trerotola, Senior Director, Distribution Marketing at National Life Group, had the honor of presenting John with the Agent Do Good Award in recognition of the extraordinary impact he continues to make.
The Agent Do Good Award contributes $7,500 to the Afterglow Foundation in support of its ongoing mission.
John, we are incredibly proud of you and the work you continue to do in AJ’s memory. We are honored to stand alongside you and share in even a small piece of the tremendous impact you have made—and continue to make—in the lives of so many.
Thank you for reminding all of us what it means to turn love into action. ❤️
