UAVIQ Precision Agriculture

UAVIQ Precision Agriculture To date, the company has provided data processing services to drone operators and their agriculture clients on five continents.

UAV-IQ, which stands for Unmanned Aerial Vehicle Intelligence, offers drone-based biological control (or “biocontrol”) - an integrated pest management (IPM) service providing effective alternatives to pesticides. We started off as one of the first companies authorized by the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) to conduct commercial drone operations to provide crop scouting services for Californi

a vineyards and have grown into a Software as a Service (SaaS) provider bridging the gap between drone operators and the agriculture industry worldwide. UAV-IQ built its initial software and cloud infrastructure to deliver to its own drone-as-a-service customers better situational awareness and tools required to transform insight into action. As drones, professional sensors and operators proliferated, UAV-IQ began to design its services to meet the needs of a global agriculture community and formed partnerships with industry leading drone operators. We understand that managing high-risk investments with imperfect information is costly, inefficient and extremely stressful. From our CEO’s military experience of delivering critical information gathered by drones to people working in rapidly changing environments, the company knows all too well the uneasy sensation decision-makers feel when stakes are high and their information is not complete or reliable. Or worse, the feeling when there is no one who can get to you in time when additional resources are needed. Since the company’s founding, its team has invested hundreds of hours working directly with agriculture clients to understand their needs and build solutions to meet them. We do this by providing the infrastructure, platform, analytics and tools necessary to enable drone operators anywhere in the world help local growers manage complex agronomic and farm management decisions. Our latest initiative is drone-based biological control (or “biocontrol”) service, a revolutionary integrated pest management (IPM) service that uses drones to efficiently release beneficial insects to control pest populations as an effective alternative to pesticides. We currently provide this service in California, and are underway in our plans to make it available in new markets in the near future.

Our Story

UAV-IQ, which stands for Unmanned Aerial Vehicle Intelligence, helps growers easily and profitably adopt some of the most advanced agricultural technology. We are an AgriTech company that leverages deep experience in large-scale drone operations and precision agriculture to develop and scale solutions for growers.

We do this by first going out into the fields ourselves with our stakeholders and figuring out how to solve real-world problems with emerging technologies. We then scale these solutions by developing best practices for new services and building the infrastructure, platform, analytics and tools necessary to enable drone operators anywhere in the world help local growers manage complex agronomic and farm management decisions. Whether you are a grower who wants to chat about new technology and how we can help address your issues, or are drone operator who wants to learn about working commercially in agriculture, we’d love to talk to you.
