“Bourbon Week began with a successful hunt for the 21-Year Elijah Craig at Heaven Hill, and it ended with the fantastic MashUp event that featured Bardstown’s best bourbons, distillers, fine fare, vintage pours and so much more. Just another reason why Bardstown remains the Bourbon Capital of the World. I hope you can join in the festivities next year!”

CaskX Director of Whiskey Sara Havens lent her whiskey judging skills to the inaugural Kosher Spirits Awards in Cincinnati this past weekend. Hosted by Jewish Drinking, the competition featured more than 50 entries that ran the gamut from bourbon and whiskey to tequila, gin, and even RTDs.

Sara shared, “This was such a fun spirits competition. I met so many cool people, saw some industry friends and, of course, tasted so many amazing spirits. I was honored to be a part of it.” 🥃

Experiences like this reflect the value of staying connected to the industry, from evaluating spirits to building relationships with the people behind them.
