🌀 It is hard to believe, but the 2026 Hurricane Season begins in just 62 days and it is never too early to start thinking about Hurricane Season. Here's a look at the names for this season, and you might recognize them. The names that have not been retired are reused every 6 years, so there's a few on there that have impacted North Carolina over the years!

Regardless of how the long-term seasonal forecasts turn out, it is important to be prepared for Hurricane Season as it only takes one storm to have a bad season. Over the next couple of weeks leading up to Hurricane Season, I'll be posting some tips about how to prepare!
