The weather forecast for this afternoon and this evening for Iowa and western Illinois does not look good. It appears that we can expect another widespread severe weather event. Here are some storm reminders:
We Encourage the client to report the claim themselves so we can get a good description of the damage. 1 866 268-6879. When we have hundreds or thousands of claims we work to triage out the worst claims so we can get the right people assigned. If a claim is reported as “tornado damage” we have no idea if that is a few shingles off the roof or if the house is gone.

Also for my clients I would recommend not signing any contract until you have a chance to research the vendor and make sure that is who they really want to do business with. Most of those contracts from companies that go door to door are difficult if not impossible for them to break out of if they change their mind. I would not provide any electronic signature unless I saw the paper contract to know what being agreed to. And I would strongly encourage to keep contractor or roofing work local as much as possible. If you need recommendations I work with a handful of trust worthy contractors and roofers so don’t hesitate to ask. Thank you !
