If anyone's looking to pick up a safe from one of the local hardware stores (Home Depot, Lowes, Strosniders...etc), give it some serious thought 1st. Regardless of what they look like, these typically are not burglary safes, but fire safes! (A burglary safe must weigh 750lbs to begin with...)

Thinking the contents would be secure from everyone except a professional burglar, my brother bought one. He passed about 6mos ago... My son Sean and I needed to get to some paperwork that was inside and broke it open with a sledgehammer in perhaps 10minutes!

So, don't trust one of these things to guard against theft!!!
