EXTRA, EXTRA, Read ALL About it --- URGENT FHA ALERT!... FHA is updating its lending guidelines and will remove financing eligibility for borrowers with illegal alien status from accessing FHA-Insured mortgages.

The "Non-Permanent Residents" or Employment Authorization Document (EAD) category in both the Single Family Title I and Title II programs will be permanently removed effective May 25, 2025 - Lenders have the option to implement this update immediately, BUT must fully implement this requirement on or after May 25th.

Realtors - If you are working with a buyer who was preapproved as an EAD holder for an FHA mortgage, YOU must have their case reviewed and under contract ASAP!
