Medicare Annual Enrollment Period is almost here! 📅
October 15 – December 7

This year, I’m seeing more changes to Medicare plan options for 2027 than I’ve seen in recent years, which makes reviewing your current coverage especially important.

Your current plan may look different next year. Premiums, copays, prescription drug coverage/formularies, provider networks and additional benefits can change from year to year.

Even if you’re happy with your current coverage, take a few minutes to review your Annual Notice of Change (ANOC) and make sure your doctors, prescriptions and preferred pharmacy still work well with your plan for 2027.

As a licensed health insurance broker, I can help you review the options I represent and compare them with your current coverage. There is no requirement to change plans — sometimes, after reviewing everything, staying exactly where you are makes sense.

The Inflation Reduction Act of 2022 is bringing some major changes to the Medicare landscape that will impact ALL beneficiaries for year to come. The IRA will also implement a drastic shift of prescription drug cost onto the carriers, which will lead to higher deductibles, higher copays, or increased tiers charging a coinsurance, slimmer formularies and less consumer choice. It’s projected that – 77% of all Medicare beneficiaries will be shopping for new coverage this AEP!
