Please be careful as Medicare Open Enrollment nears. My mom received a call today (make it more like 5+ times every day) stating she needed to verify her Medicare ID to receive her new Medicare card. Due to the multiple calls a day about this, I stated she didn't want the card as she still works. The person said Medicare doesn't allow you to work past the age of 65.
He even went as far as saying we were stating a LIE.

I am a licensed insurance agent. Medicare does NOT call you. Medicare cards do NOT expire. Please be careful with the calls you receive that are scams. DO NOT provide any personal information to the person on the other end of the phone.

In the few foreign language classes I have taken, the instructor discussed how difficult it is to learn English. Interacting with individuals who are ESL(english as a second language) it's difficult to know how to translate their language to English because of the multiple words that sound alike, but are spelled different and have different definitions.
