Just finished cooking 320 hotdogs! My favorite small town free event at the city pool. A collaboration between the City of Bertram, The Chamber of Commerce, the YMCA, along with business sponsors. Rollo Insurance - Bertram sponsors a portion of the snow cones.

The big events like the festivals are important for economic development, but I sure do love the small community events! Where local families huddle and participate in traditions together. The Fam and I volunteered at the food pantry in Kingsland - Sharing the Harvest. Nice to meet and work with fellow givers. We accidentally locked our keys in the van. The locksmith drove from Marble Falls and guess what? Popped our lock for free! I love it when good deeds keep getting passed from one to another.
