There’s something pretty special about local businesses supporting local businesses. 💛

Our sweet customer Syd Roe, owner of Roe Insurance, surprised our team this morning with freshly baked Nothing Bundt Cakes, personally delivered by the owner of the Loveland Nothing Bundt Cakes. 🧁

Different businesses. Different roles in our community. But all of us doing our little part to make Northern Colorado a wonderful place to live, work and serve.

Dolly had it right… put a little love in your heart. 💕 And sometimes, apparently, put a little frosting on it too. 😂🧁

Sometimes a sign is so much more than a sign. ❤️

This morning, my friend Vickie and I walked out of another amazing class at Mat + Motion class and saw the trucks across the street at my office. My State Farm signs were finally going up.

And yep… there were tears. 🥹

There have been so many decisions, so much work, so many unexpected twists and turns that went into getting to this moment. I’ve pictured what this building could become for a long time, but standing there with one of my best friends and watching the name and the State Farm logo actually go up made it all feel very, very real.

This isn’t just a new sign or a new office. It’s a new chapter. A home for our team, our customers, and hopefully a place that becomes part of this community I already love so much.

Today I got to stand across the street and watch a dream become a little more real. ❤️

Some people entertain us. Some people inspire us. And every once in a while, someone comes along who somehow makes the whole world feel a little warmer.

Dolly was one of those people. 🤍

She broke barriers, brought people together, made us laugh, made us sing, and never seemed to lose her faith, her joy, her kindness or that beautiful way she had of looking at life.

I was sitting in my office today, holding this coaster one of my dear team members gave me & listening to her sing “When I Get Where I’m Going” with Brad Paisley, and the words suddenly felt entirely different.

“When I get where I’m going…”

Man, Dolly. You are going to be so deeply missed down here.

But I have a feeling you knew exactly where you were going. 🤍

Thank you for the music, the laughter, the courage, the generosity, the faith and the light you gave to so many of us.
