Thursday, May 21st, our CCFB agents were honored to attend the Builders of Berryville Ceremony.
The City of Berryville hosted its signature event, the Builders of Berryville Awards Ceremony, as part of Berryville’s Sesquicentennial Celebration. During the event, the City honored 27 local businesses that have faithfully served the Berryville community for more than 50 years.
The ceremony was held on May 21 at the Berryville High School Performing Arts Center, where community members gathered for the City’s premier 150-Year Anniversary celebration.
The evening served as both a tribute and a celebration, recognizing the foundational role these businesses have played in Berryville’s growth, character, and success. Serving as a reunion of sorts, the event marked a historic milestone dedicated to the people and businesses that have shaped the city’s identity for generations.
With a distinguished list of attendees, the evening reflected not only community pride, but also gratitude and recognition. It provided an opportunity for Berryville to celebrate by paying homage to its past while looking ahead to its future.
Businesses recognized for serving Berryville community for over 100 years included: Hanby Lumber Company, Bank of 1889, Anstaff Bank, CS Bank, Poynor Drug and the Berryville School District.
Additional businesses recognized for serving the community for more than 50 years included: KTHS Radio, Carroll County News, Nelson Funeral Service, Brashears Furniture, Tyson Foods, Carroll Electric Cooperative Corporation, Wal-Mart, Mercy Hospital, City Barber Shop, Wilson TV, Berryville Liquor Shop, WT Equipment, Shelter Insurance, Braswell Printing, State Farm, Danny’s Tire & Full Service, Farm Bureau, Ozark Café, and Garner’s Drive-In.
The City of Berryville extends special thanks to everyone who helped make this event such a meaningful celebration for our community.
