Gen Z is taking a different approach to homeownership.

More young buyers are creating a path that works for them. In fact, 53% of Gen Z buyers purchased a home solo, while 35% were single women. And when it comes to why they’re buying, 39% said they simply wanted a home of their own.

Homeownership is also an investment for many Gen Z buyers, with 71% viewing their home as a good financial investment.

There’s no one-size-fits-all path to homeownership, and Gen Z is showing that buying a home can look different for everyone.
