We don't approach large losses differently because the stakes are higher. We approach them the same way we approach every assignment — and that's what makes the difference.

Have a complex property loss that needs experienced support? Send us the details and we'll tell you how we'd approach it.

You got a supplement request. That's not always bad news.

A supplement sounds like a problem. It's actually a correction.

Here's what's really happening:

A supplement is filed when the original estimate didn't capture the full scope of damage — either because something wasn't visible at first inspection, additional damage was discovered during repairs, or material or labor costs changed between estimate and build.

It's not an accusation. It's not someone saying the first adjuster did it wrong. It's the process working the way it's designed to.

What you should do when one's filed:

- Ask your contractor what triggered it and why
- Request documentation of the new damage or cost discrepancy
- Make sure the supplement is submitted with photos and written support — not just a higher number
- Keep a copy of all communication in your own records

A well-documented supplement resolves quickly. A vague one creates a back-and-forth that benefits no one.

Have questions about your claim process? Reach out — we'll point you in the right direction.

CAT season is a capacity test. We train for it year-round.

When volume spikes, the difference between a manageable CAT response and a chaotic one comes down to one thing: preparation before the event.

Here's how we approach surge:

- Pre-positioned team with defined response protocols, and we're not scrambling when the assignment hits
- Standardized reporting format so carriers get consistent files, even at scale
- Assignment acceptance tracked and communicated in real time, no black holes
- Clear escalation path for complex losses discovered in the field
- Documentation standards that hold even under high volume

Surge doesn't mean shortcuts. Not for us.

If your CAT vendor list has gaps, in coverage, consistency, or communication, we'd like to be part of the conversation before the next event.

Send us your territory and claim type. We'll tell you what we can do.

Independent doesn't mean unaccountable.

There's a misconception that independent adjusters operate without structure; that the "independent" part means loosely affiliated, loosely trained, loosely documented. That's not how we run.

Here's what accountability looks like at Action Claim Service:
- Licensed where required. Period.
- Every file built to the same standard, not adjusted based on complexity or workload.
- Direct communication with the carrier throughout, not just at close.
- Escalation paths are clear. If something is outside scope or beyond our authority, we flag it early and fast.
- We don't disappear after submission. If a desk adjuster has a question on our file, we answer it.

The best carrier relationships are built on predictability. Same format. Same communication cadence. Same quality. Every assignment.

Want to know more about how we work? Reach out and we'll walk you through our process.

Assignment accepted. Here’s what happens in the next 72 hours:
Hour 0–4: we review the file, pull policy docs, and get the inspection scheduled.
Hour 4–24: we prep scope, history, and reporting requirements.
Inspection: full photos, measurements, diagrams, and clear notes, so nothing is missed.
Post-inspection: photos organized, report drafted to carrier specs, and submitted clean.
This is our standard, not our best day. Need a field partner with a consistent process? Message us.

Your estimate arrived. Before you respond, read this first.

An insurance estimate isn't a take-it-or-leave-it offer. It's a document. And like any document, it's worth reviewing carefully before you reply.

Here's what to look at:
- Line items: Are all the damaged areas included? Missing rooms or materials?
- Scope of loss: Does the written description match what the adjuster actually observed?
- Depreciation: Is it recoverable or non-recoverable? That changes your out-of-pocket.
- Code upgrades: If local code requires updates during repair, is that reflected?
- Your contractor's estimate: If it differs significantly, document why (in writing.)
You are allowed to ask questions. You are allowed to request a review. A good adjuster, and a good carrier, welcomes a thorough process.

Not sure what you're looking at? Reach out and we'll help you understand the next step.

Rural property. Gravel road. Spotty service. No problem.

Some of the most complex claims happen in locations that are the hardest to staff consistently. That's exactly where we operate.

Our team handles:
- Farmstead and agricultural property inspections
- Remote residential and commercial losses
- Rural CAT surge support where coverage is hardest to find
- Claims in areas where assignment acceptance is the first obstacle

We show up prepared, document thoroughly, and deliver a file the desk team can work with... Regardless of how far off the main road the property sits.

If you manage claims in territories where consistent coverage is a challenge, send us the county and claim type. We'll tell you if we can help.
