As Small Business Week comes to a close, we’re proud to share a story from Round The Bend Steakhouse — one that reflects the grit, trust, and long-term partnership behind so many local businesses.
When Tif and I were 28, we took a leap and bought the family business. No investors. No business degree. No fancy five-step business plan. Just a dream, a whole lot of grit, and the willingness to outwork the odds. We needed a seven-figure loan, and only one bank was willing to take a chance on a college dropout with a vision. That bank was i3 Bank.
Now, let’s be honest… it probably took a little more than my pretty face to get that deal done. But they listened. They believed in us. And they trusted that we’d figure it out and make it happen.
Over the last 14 years, we’ve grown that business into something we’re incredibly proud of. When it came time to expand our building and keep pushing forward, i3 was right there helping us build a plan and make it reality.
In 2015, we jumped into rental properties. One house turned into 10 doors and an apartment complex. Along the way, i3 has been in our corner through lines of credit during the pandemic, vehicle loans, business ventures, expansions, and more than a few six-figure “let’s-send-it” moments.
At the end of the day, banking is about relationships and trust. i3 didn’t just finance deals, they believed in us before the numbers made everyone else comfortable. That kind of partnership matters. And around here, loyalty still means something.
We’re grateful to have a banking partner that understands grit, hustle, and a little calculated chaos. Thanks for continuing to back our ideas, support our growth, and help us chase the next big thing.
Here’s to the next chapter...
