Happy Friday Everyone! Here are some basic do's and/or don'ts when either refinancing or purchasing a home. They may seem simple but all of them can be very impactful towards the home loan process. Purchasing a new home is an exciting and you will remember it for a long time so please don't do anything to jeopardize that. "Date your Rate"! The average consumer has their current mortgage for less than 5 years. Considering the current rates, that timeframe will shorten greatly when the rates come back down and they WILL come back down. I just can't tell you exactly when. The housing market isn't showing signs of slowing down so if you are in the market, give me a call and we can talk about our ARM loans. Then we can make a plan to "marry" your rate when it makes sense in the near future.
