Tax Settlements and Resolutions After 34 years with the IRS, I have now started my own tax representation firm to assist people who have tax problems. Hi.

I deal with the IRS and all State agencies to resolve unpaid or unfiled tax issues and audits of returns. My name is Adlai Climan, and for 34 years I worked for the IRS in the Collection Division (14 years), and the Appeals Division (20 years), starting in NYC in 1974 and in Los Angeles from 1980 to 2008. During that time, I viewed my job as resolving people's tax problems as equitably as the laws

and regulations allowed. Sometimes my end decisions appeared harsh, but only when that was what was required. Over that span, I gained innate knowledge of the tax laws, rules the IRS and other tax agencies are required to abide by, and how and when to settle a case where settlement was warranted. I've now taken that expertise into the private area to represent my clients' interests in resolving their tax problems. Please, call me at your discretion to discuss your matters. And now, after 12 years, I have given up my Beverly Hills office address. Central California, on the coast is lovely.

With the federal government shutdown, this year's filing season will become more of a quagmire than ever before with those attempting to negotiate their way through the new tax forms and law changes while having no federal resource to ask questions of. PLEASE get to your accountants early this year so that your filing does not go awry.
