Before colder Illinois weather arrives, October is a good reminder to take care of a few things around the house.

🔥 Check smoke and carbon monoxide detectors
🍂 Clear leaves from gutters
💧 Disconnect outdoor hoses before freezing weather
🏠 Check doors and windows for drafts
🔥 If you use a fireplace, make sure it's ready for the season

❤️ SUNDAY GRATITUDE

We're fortunate to work in a community where neighbors still look out for neighbors.
Today we're keeping it simple:

👇 Tag someone in the Belvidere area who deserves a little appreciation.

Maybe they helped you, made you laugh or simply made your week better.

Let's make someone's Sunday. ❤️

Dogs, cats, horses, rabbits — we want to see them ALL.

👇 Drop a picture of your furry family member in the comments and tell us their name!

We'll start with ours. ❤️
