Here’s a little Belton history you may know if you’re from around here. This is the barber shop where my dad took me for my first haircut from Wayne Jackson 40+ years ago. Across the street was his brothers barber shop that has been there as long if not longer and is still operating. These buildings are located just north of the courthouse on N. East St. I can only imagine the amount of folks that have been in and out of those two establishments. I remember I used to love to tag along with my dad for our haircuts and listen to Mr. Wayne tell me stories about the area and the people from here. Pretty neat to get to work right around the corner 40 years later. The world is a big place, but also small at the same time. 💈
