We are hearing some reports that some of our customers are getting calls from people posing as adjustors for the insurance company and are trying to set up a time to come look at the roof. People who have not yet even filed a claim are getting these types of calls so its obviously roofers trying to get a foot in the door in hopes to get the roof replacement job. BUT some insurance companies are using independent adjusters as well so you may not hear the name of your insurance company when the caller identifies themselves. Those could actually be your adjuster calling if you have filed a claim. We are just wanting to let folks know this is happening and to keep your guard up. Ask them to reference your insurance company, policy number, and/or claim number. If the person calling does have that information and it is accurate, they are most likely your assigned adjuster for the claim. Please do not hesitate to call us for any verification if you are unsure!
