Week 3 Post Op update.

Stitches are out, but I’m still completely non-weight bearing. The good news: I’ve graduated to a single-leg crutch, which means I can finally use both hands while standing—making something as simple as coffee a whole lot easier. ☕️

And the swelling is no joke. My foot has a pretty consistent evening routine: swell up, elevate, repeat. 😂

The hardest part continues to be being limited in what I can do. No driving, golf, cycling, fishing, swimming or running.

I’m making progress, just slower than I’d like. And I’m incredibly grateful for the friends and family who have brought meals, stopped by, sent encouragement, and kept me in their prayers. It’s made this recovery a lot easier.

One week post-op update.

Recovery is moving in the right direction. Pain is manageable, I’m tapering off the pain meds, and learning to navigate life without putting weight on my foot. Can’t drive either.

While I’m taking it one day at a time, it’s business as usual. My team is here and ready to help with your insurance needs.

Thank you to everyone who has checked in and wished me well. I truly appreciate it.

Sometimes life forces you to slow down. An Achilles rupture wasn’t part of the plan, but I’m grateful for skilled doctors, the support of family, friends, and my Team. This is a reminder that setbacks don’t define us.
