Should you buy Long Term Care Insurance? A good article reviewing pros and cons

My wife and I bought long-term care policies 25 years ago when they were relatively cheap. Now, our premiums have increased for the third time to over $500 per month and will rise again in six years. I figure I’ve already paid about $72,000 in premiums. Now, in our late 70s, I’m trying to decide...

When James Martin (left) was born, his family were told he may never speak. Now, not only does he never shut up, according to his dad Ivan, but he has become the first star with Down's syndrome ever to win an Oscar. 👏 When An Irish Goodbye was announced winner of Best Short Film, co-director Tom Berkeley told the audience that it was also James' birthday, asking them to sing to him. ❤ His proud dad said: "All I ever wanted for James was that he'd be happy... It's just crazy... there were a few tears shed but what an achievement, just delighted." Congratulations and happy birthday, James! 🎉

Amazing!❤️❤️❤️ “After graduating high school, Collette Divitto found it hard to find a job. So, she created her own job: CEO of Collettey's Cookies.

Collettey's Cookies, which is run out of Boston, was founded by Divitto in 2016 and has already brought in more than $1 million in revenue over the last five years.

She says that her favorite part about running her business is hiring other people with disabilities.

In 2020, just 17.9% of people with a disability were employed. But Divitto believes many want to work, and even when they do, federal law does not require employers to pay them minimum wage. That means companies can pay people with disabilities whatever they think they're worth – something Divitto is working to change.”
