I was definitely wrong.
Data changed pretty abruptly and the FED’s actions were the first rate cut (FED funds/overnight rate) in years- a substantial one at .5%

Fed holds rate (Fed Funds Rate) steady. Mark my words: no rate cut in September either.
Data shows inflation cooling, which is positive.

Mortgage Interest rates drop below 7%
Because: CPI data (consumer price index shows that inflation is currently performing as expected- on track for a little little bit over 3% annually at the moment)

What does that mean for homebuyers?
Is that all good that rates are lower?

Housing market should stay hot through late summer (most analysts agree).

I thought of something that could be a wise investing metric:

Investing IQ = total value of appreciating assets divided by total value of cars owned;)

Ie. 5M (Real Estate, securities, etc.) of appreciating assets divided by 20k value in cars = 250 Investing IQ- off the charts- Einstein investor💪🏼

Takeaway: Leverage to acquire more appreciating assets. Stay away from purchasing high-ticket items that will not hold their value.

*Please avoid buying new cars (so you’ll feel cool when people see you driving) which depreciate as fast as a rock thrown in the ocean. 😂
