Rick is our trusted advisor in home buying and refinancing. We've now bought (and sold) 4 houses with him since 2012, as well as 2 refinances. Along the way we've asked him countless questions on the peripheral of mortgage management ranging from recommendations for a financial advisor (who we've now also been with for a decade!) to an insurance broker.

Rick is honest, responsive, and meets you where you are. He provides options and then listens to your feedback and adjusts. For example, we've never had a mortgage for longer than 5 years, so he provided a few options for ARMs this time around. But when we decided to stick with 30-year fixed, he zeroed in and watched the rates obsessively to lock us in at the best time. And it worked. In the entire process of our refinance, there were only a few "several hour windows" where we could have gotten as low of a rate, and never lower.

It was scary to wade into the world of real estate at 24 years old with no experience or knowledge. And from our first house in 2012 for $205k, to our current our home at $1m+, Rick has treated us with the same level of care and attention. It's a rare thing to find someone who is so consistently, reliably good at their craft, for so long. Rick is truly one of those people.
