"$0 premium" can definitely catch your attention.

But no “monthly cost” isn’t the same as free.

What you pay each month shouldn't be the only number you look at.

Depending on the plan, you may also have costs like deductibles, copays, coinsurance or prescription costs when you actually use your coverage.

That doesn't make a $0-premium plan good or bad.

It just means the better question is:
What could this coverage cost ME based on how I use it?

Because the biggest number on the brochure isn't always the most important one.

Your ANOC has entered the chat. 👀

And before you file it away in the very official "I'll deal with this later" pile, give it a look.

Your Annual Notice of Change (ANOC) shows what's changing with your current Medicare Advantage or Part D plan for next year.

A few things worth noticing:
🍂 Changes to costs
🍂 Prescription drug coverage
🍂 Benefits or coverage changes
🍂 Anything that could affect how you use your plan

You don't have to understand every line of it on your own.

That's what people like me are for. 😊

Here’s a Medicare plot twist people don’t always expect:

The pharmacy you use can matter.

With Medicare drug coverage, one pharmacy may be preferred by your plan while another may not be, which can affect what you pay for your prescriptions.

So when you're reviewing your coverage, don't just check your medications.

Check your pharmacy, too. 👀

Especially if you're loyal to {your favorite/local pharmacy} and have no intention of going anywhere else.

It's one of those little details that can make a bigger difference than you’d think.
