Continuing with the topic of Preventive Care let's look at what is offered to Adults as Preventive. Below is a link to HealthCare.gov and it will go into the care provided at no cost.
https://www.healthcare.gov/preventive-care-adults/
Together we can find a plan that will take care of you

For the next couple of days, we are looking at Preventive services.
Preventive services are routine health care that includes screenings, check-ups, and patient counseling to prevent illnesses, diseases, or other health problems.
With most plans, your Preventive services are covered at no cost to you.

With Health Insurance there are only specific times or life events that qualify an opening to enroll in a new plan. Today we will look at Qualifying Life Event (QLE) - a change in your situation – like getting married, having a baby, or losing health coverage. These is just a few QLE, call me today and see if you qualify for a new plan.

We are looking at a Subsidy (also known as a Premium Tax Credit)
You can use a Subsidy to lower your monthly insurance payment when you enroll in a plan through the Health Insurance Marketplace. Your tax credit is based on the income estimate and household information you put on your application.
With just some basic information I can get you a quote quickly and then help you enroll into the plan that works for you.

Today we are going to look at what the Marketplace is.
Marketplace is a website to shop and enroll for health insurance. After going through the application we see if you qualify for a Subsidy (to be covered on Friday).
I am here to help you every step of the way with this, ensuring you find the plan that works for you.

Since today is Tax Day, we are going to look at Under 65 insurance if you go through the Marketplace. There is a lot that goes into it but to start let's look at
Tax Household - The taxpayer(s) and any individuals who are claimed as dependents on your federal income tax return. A tax household may include your spouse and/or dependents.
The application may seem difficult, but that is what I am here for. Give me a call and I can help walk you through it.

Ok, we have covered Deductibles, Copayments, and Coinsurance. Now we look at Max Out of Pocket.
Max Out of Pocket - The most you have to pay for covered services in a plan year. This amount includes everything you pay for deductibles, copayments, and coinsurance for in-network services. Once you reach this amount your health plan pays 100% of the costs of covered benefits.
Some things are not included in your Max Out of Pocket. They are:
Monthly Premiums
Out-of-Network services
Services your plan does not cover
Costs above the allowed amount for a service that a provider may charge

Every plan has a different Max Out of Pocket and different amounts depending on whether you stay In-Network or not. As your Agent I will help navigate through all this.

Today we have 2 Insurance Terms, Copayments and Coinsurance.
Copayment - A fixed amount ($40, for example) you pay for a covered health care service after you've paid your deductible.
Coinsurance - The percentage of costs of a covered health care service you pay (20%, for example) after you've paid your deductible.

Certain plans offered several basic services (for example Primary Care visits, Specialist visits, etc.) without having to worry about hitting your deductible. Let me help you find those plans.

04/08/2024

Today's Insurance Term is Deductible:
The amount you pay for covered health care services before your insurance plan starts to pay.
After you pay your deductible, you usually pay only a copayment or coinsurance for covered services. Your insurance company pays the rest.

There are several plans to choose from that have zero to low Deductible, call me today to see what you qualify for.
