Today we mourn the loss of one of our own. Patty Griisser Robinson was not only an employee here at MBA Mortgage Services, but an integral part of the foundation of the company. Patty worked here at MBA for almost 20-years as a branch manager, VP of sales and as a mortgage loan originator. Patty’s mortgage career spanned over 4-decades, working at some of the largest institutions in the Baltimore region prior to joining our company. A staunch advocate for the “little guy,” women in our industry and those facing challenges to homeownership; Patty was always there to support those that needed assistance and enjoyed helping those in need. Patty’s career spanned from her early years in Baltimore where she advocated for the FHA rehabilitation program (203k) and quickly became one of the top FHA 203k loan originators in the mid-Atlantic. After working as a Senior Vice President for several larger mortgage banking firms, Patty joined our company in 2002 as we expanded our footprint into central Maryland. Patty was a key factor to the success of MBA Financial Services from 2002 to 2007 and quickly earned her spot as the company’s top originator. She then moved to the retail division of MBA Mortgage Services, Inc. in 2007 and was quickly promoted to branch manager in their North East, MD office. After several years of running that branch; Patty decided to move back to the Bel Air office to continue not only originating, but also mentoring younger loan officers. Over the last few years Patty made the decision to spend more time with her family and scaled back her business in order to better balance her time. As 2022 began, Patty was still working with first time homebuyers, assisting them with the necessary tools to become homeowners. We want to also take this time to celebrate Patty and her many accomplishments over the last few decades. We know that she will truly be missed by Jim (her loving husband), her family, her friends, her co-workers, and her clients. Our thoughts and prayers are with her family as we remember a woman who dedicated her life to helping others. We will miss you!
Love, your family at MBA!
