Freedom recently joined fellow Harford County community members for an informative event highlighting MedStar Franklin Square Medical Center’s Comprehensive Stroke Center, and the exceptional care it provides to patients throughout our region.

From hearing directly from medical experts to seeing a medevac helicopter up close, the evening offered a deeper appreciation for the people and technology that make rapid stroke treatment possible.

We’re fortunate to have access to nationally recognized healthcare right here in our community, and grateful for the opportunity to learn more about the incredible work happening every day.

For many veterans, the next mission begins with entrepreneurship. Project Opportunity helps make that transition possible by providing the education, mentorship, and resources needed to transform business ideas into reality. We were excited to support that mission with a recent donation and celebrate the organization's commitment to empowering those who have served.

We’re especially proud that our own SVP of Business Banking, Bob Wehland, serves as one of the program’s educators, sharing his expertise with participants as they navigate the path to business ownership.
