Please pray for everyone in east texas! They are without power for a couple of days. If you aren’t from here or have ever visited this time of year, we are HOT! And yes! Think Robin Williams on Good Morning Vietnam! With the moisture that Hurricane Beryl brought, the heat is heavy. There are elderly and people with disabilities who cannot breathe in the heat like this.

Please pray for the AEP employees who are out there in this heat trying to get power restored. They are getting hospitals and emergency facilities first. It’s difficult.

You may get a phone call from the Marketplace asking you to confirm or provide more information. If we don’t have this information, we may not be able to process your application.

Calls come from 1-855-997-1890 or 844-477-7500. Caller ID may also show as Health Insurance MP or InsMarketplace.

The Marketplace representative will say they’re calling from the Marketplace and provide a first name and agent ID number. Write them down.

If you’re not sure the call is from Marketplace or you don’t want to provide information over the phone:

You can hang up and contact the Marketplace Call Center directly for help over the phone.

Ask the representative to mail you a letter with instructions.

If you’re asked to provide additional documents, it’s safest to upload documents through your Marketplace account.

Howdy Texas! I am excited to be an advocate for those people who don't know what their rights are. I also love helping people finding resources to have a better lifestyle.

I have 8 and a half years of experiencing working with the State of Texas helping with Medicaid and SNAP benefits. I have been a licensed insurance agent for 2 years now.

On a personal level, I am an animal mama to four dogs and 4 parakeets. I am managed by 2 and half cats (the half is my little black angel who comes when she is really hungry).

I facilitate a quilting group. I teach women how to quilt by hand and by machine. We have two projects going right now.

I hope to host bingo night and a cooking class this summer. Keep an eye here for more details.
