**FRAUD ALERT** They are at it again! Recently a customer received a similar text as the one in the picture below and received the follow-up phone calls. They have even gone as far as to clone our main office number so be extra careful. Please, Please, Please remember that Bedford Bank will NEVER ask for your personal banking information. We have had several people fall for this and it has been very costly! I know it looks very convincing but DO NOT become one of their victims. If you are not sure if you are talking to someone, please end the call and call the bank back directly.

Job Summary:
A Bank Teller’s primary responsibility is customer service. Our Teller/Customer Service Representatives are the face of our business. Tellers promote our mission, provide outstanding service along with building strong customer relationships. Bank Tellers must be knowledgeable about a range of bank operations and able to answer any questions a customer may have.
Job Type:
Full-time hours are approximately 35-37 hours/week.
Work hours for full-time employees are typically:
8am – 5:00pm Monday – Thursday
8am – 12:00pm Wednesday (Bedford Branch only)
8am – 6:00pm Friday
8am – 12pm Every Other Saturday
Other duties and responsibilities may include:
Essential Functions:
• Greeting customers and creating a welcoming environment.
• Processing transactions with accuracy and efficiency.
• Maintaining and balancing cash drawers.
• Identifying the right banking products based on the needs of the customer.
• Promoting the bank’s products and services, such as checking accounts, loans, certificates of deposits (CDs)
• Communicating with other bank team members.
• Referring customers to Bedford Loan & Deposit Bank.
• Performing account research and problem solving as needed.
• Cross-training in other areas of the financial center, such as ATM, Vault, Safe Deposit, Wire Transfers, and other services.
• Upholds customer satisfaction by supporting external and internal customers, answering questions and requests in a timely manner.
• Maintains customer confidence and protects operations by following the Privacy Policy and keeping information confidential.
• Complies with the bank procedures and follows regulatory, operational, and security guidelines.
Work Environment:
This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets, and fax machines.
