Edward Jones-Financial Advisor: Theresa Montya

Edward Jones-Financial Advisor: Theresa Montya Edward Jones is a financial - services firm dedicated to serving the needs of individual investors. Giving back to my community is deeply important to me.

For more than 25 years, I’ve had the privilege of guiding individuals and families through meaningful financial decisions and the many life events that shape their journeys. Licensed since 1999, I’ve walked alongside clients through career transitions, market uncertainty, marriage, parenthood, loss and everything in between. My priority is to understand your personal story — your needs, wants and

wishes — so we can navigate your financial path together with clarity and confidence. When we meet with people, we often ask the question, “What is your first experience with money?” Mine was sitting with my dad on Saturday mornings, writing checks and learning how to balance a checkbook. Coming from a large family, my dad was the breadwinner and my mom was the heart of our home, stretching every dollar with care and intention. Those early lessons taught me the value of discipline, planning and communication — principles I still carry into my work with clients today. Over the years, I’ve served in a variety of volunteer roles, from supporting Boy Scouts to serving as president of our women’s group at church. Lifelong learning is a core value of mine. I recently earned the ChFC® designation through a rigorous two-year program and also hold the AAMS® designation, along with Series 7, 63, 65, 24 and 53 registrations, as well as life and health insurance licenses. Remaining current in today’s increasingly complex financial environment allows me to better serve the people who trust me with their financial futures. Of all my accomplishments, nothing means more to me than my roles as wife, mother and grandmother. My family and I cherish our time together, enjoy good food and music, love the outdoors and are happiest with our dogs nearby. By the way, I now offer comprehensive financial planning services for individuals and families with specific planning needs at all stages of life. Whether you're just starting out, navigating life changes or planning for tomorrow, I can help you create a plan that supports more informed and confident decisions. If you have questions or would like to schedule an appointment, please feel free to contact my office. I look forward to meeting you — and learning your story. PS: If you want to see if your priorities are in order, please complete the "My Priorities" quiz and send it back my way. https://mypriorities.edwardjones.com/?faNo=463631

Higher Treasury yields weighed on equities last week, renewing concerns about whether the economy and markets can withstand elevated rates. Despite the potential for seasonal volatility, resilient economic activity and strong corporate earnings support a constructive backdrop for equities.

For professionals thinking long‑term, the real question isn’t just the next role—it’s whether the career can continue to evolve. Growth, ownership, and impact tend to matter more when you’re building something meant to last. If you’re reflecting on that path, a conversation can add clarity.

Can a six-figure income still leave you feeling financially lost?

Our research with Gallup — recently featured in Fortune — found that among Americans earning more than $135,000, nearly 70% still struggle to feel financially fulfilled. Even more striking: 1 in 5 high earners report experiencing significant financial stress.

As a financial advisor, this doesn't surprise me. Income alone doesn't create confidence. What can make a difference is having a clear plan, knowing what matters most to you, and feeling genuinely in control of your financial future.
If any of this resonates, I'd love to start a conversation.

Inflation has trended lower, supporting the case for the Federal Reserve to keep policy rates steady. While the path back to the Fed's inflation target may not be perfectly smooth, strong earnings, healthy economic growth and resilient consumer spending continue to help support market strength.

Portfolio Strategist Tom Larm shares his perspective on the forces influencing markets and what it could mean for investors in the latest Weekly Market Wrap.
