Child Safe ID Kits were put into place by the International Union of Police Associations. They are designed to help protect your children.
Child Abductions don’t seem like they happen in our neck of the woods, but they are real and can happen anywhere. That’s why the Police Union partnered with my company!
According to the FBI, 460,000 children go missing each year and that number is continuing to rise. In America a child goes missing every 40 seconds, so that means that in the last five minutes, around 8 children have gone missing.
Statistics show that if a child is not found within 24 hours, sadly they’ll most likely never be found. When unprepared it can take the police up to 4 hours to collect the information needed to send out an Amber Alert. In this kit you will find all of the information needed by the police for an Amber Alert.
There’s 4 sections within the kit.
Section 1: Personal information, height, weight, blood type, and medications are important to list.
Section 2: Physical description, this is anything that would separate your son or daughter from other children, birthmarks, and scars.
Section 3: DNA Sample, hair follicle plucked from the root or a fingernail clipping. Both should be taped in this section.
Section 4: Fingerprints. This is a non-toxic ink strip. Each child gets one.
On the outside you can put an updated photo on the front left, with the date that the picture was taken. On the right, you’ll put the child’s name and the date when the KIT was last updated.
This is a two-part program. You’re also able to get your child covered with a Whole Life policy that sticks with them for the rest of their life, at the same cheap rate! You, the parent, are also entitled to get a policy for you as well if you do medically qualify. This it not a necessity to receive the kits, but it is important information to learn about!
Can you see why Child Safe kits are important for every parent?
