Duties and Responsibilities:

Assist customers in selecting the best coverage for their vehicles
Maintain a positive attitude and customer-first approach
Be knowledge of products and services offered, as well as the industry as a whole
Overcoming objections through value building in our product and brand
Handle inbound and outbound calls from interested consumers
Participate in regular training and coaching sessions
Strong sales skills with a focus on consultative selling approach
Demonstrate active listening skills to present additional opportunities
Ability to build rapport, create value-based presentations, and address concerns
Build and manage a sustainable pipeline
Maintain customer satisfaction scores through rapport building and relationships
Convert inquiries to sales through established sales techniques
Perform other duties as assigned

Required Experience:

1+ years of sales experience required
1+ years of call center experience preferred (remote agent experience a plus)
Must have an active Property and Casualty license in good standing
Excellent communication skills (verbal/written)
Motivated, energetic, and driven person
Ability to persuade and influence others
Familiarity with CRM interfaces such as SalesForce is a plus
Computer skills, internet navigation, and strong knowledge of MS Office Suite are required

Responsibilities and Duties

Greet and welcome guests as soon as they arrive at the office
Direct visitors to the appropriate person and office
Answer, screen and forward incoming phone calls
Ensure reception area is tidy and presentable, with all necessary stationery and material (e.g. pens, forms and brochures)
Provide basic and accurate information in-person and via phone/email
Receive, sort and distribute daily mail/deliveries
Maintain office security by following safety procedures and controlling access via the reception desk (monitor logbook, issue visitor badges)
Order front office supplies and keep inventory of stock
Update calendars and schedule meetings
Arrange travel and accommodations
Perform other clerical receptionist duties such as filing, photocopying, transcribing and faxing
Qualifications and Skills

Proven work experience as a Receptionist, Front Office Representative or similar role
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
Hands-on experience with office equipment (e.g. fax machines and printers)
Professional attitude and appearance
Solid written and verbal communication skills

We are a fast growing independent insurance agency that is part of the one-stop financial service branch. Our other branches includes: mortgage, life brokerage, and wealth management. We have offices in Portland, Lake Oswego, Beaverton, and Hillsboro.

Responsibilities as a Producer:

Selling Auto, Home, Life and other insurance and annuity products to individuals using consultative sales techniques
Identifying prospective customers using established lead methodologies for new business
Counseling and advising prospects and policyholders on matters of insurance coverage that is tailored to their specific situational need
Developing and maintaining business relationships
Making presentations to decision-makers of corporations to establish or maintain an Affinity relationship
Participating in various incentive programs and contests designed to drive sales and exceed production goals
Exceeding sales goals for volume of quality new business quoted and written within company guidelines
Qualifications:

Experience in sales or client service environment preferred
Highly effective communication skills - oral, written and group
Demonstrated persuasion and negotiation skills
Strong interpersonal skills to build rapport with prospective and existing customers
