The S&P 500 snapped a two-week losing streak, the Nasdaq gained more than 2%, and renewed AI enthusiasm helped Technology lead the market higher.

At the same time, Treasury yields surged, with the 10-year briefly climbing above 5.2% as investors weighed stronger economic activity, inflation pressures, and the possibility of additional Fed tightening.

Oil moved lower, international stocks generally improved, and housing continued to feel the pressure of elevated mortgage rates.
