Mortgage Tip✨💎

Knowing how to calculate your DTI is a key component of understanding how much you can afford on your monthly mortgage payments. DTI Ratio takes all of your debts (credit cards, car payments, student loans, etc) and divides that by your monthly income to determine your debt ratio.

Example: Monthly debts: $2,000
Monthly Income: $10,000
2000/10000= 0.2 or 20%

Typically an ideal DTI range for most lenders would be under 40%, but that can vary depending on what the lender requires.
