Hello, friends!
If you are out having fun in the snow with your 4-Wheeler, ATV, RZR, or other recreational off-highway recreational vehicle, here is some friendly advice:
-PLEASE be sure to contact your homeowners’ insurance company to see if your vehicle is covered when off of your premises.
-The same applies to golf carts. They are categorized as “motorized land conveyance and golf cart endorsement” on most homeowners insurances
- The insurance is cost friendly and absolutely necessary if an accident might occur at any time the vehicle is off your property
- If you let your minor child drive around a field or the neighborhood with his/her friends on your ATV, RZR or golf cart, you are directly and fully responsible for everything that child does.

We have seen many accidents for hurting others in golf carts, ATVs, and side-by-sides. Every time, the clients were badly hurt and had extremely expensive medical bills.
Only one of those cases had the right insurance; otherwise, the owners had to pay out of their pocket. It may not seem fair until you consider that the passengers, have to otherwise pay for their own bills, loose wages, go to the hospital, get their bones broken etc.
