Good morning! First and foremost, we’re praying that everyone made it through the storm safely and that your families, homes, and businesses are doing as well as possible. Secondly, we want to reiterate something very important: If you have storm-related damages—big or small—your insurance agent should be your first call.

Your insurance agent is your best point of contact for guidance, filing a claim, and making recommendations based specifically on your insurance policy and coverage. Unfortunately, we hear too often about clients receiving advice from non-licensed individuals that ultimately causes more harm than good.

Please, talk to your insurance agent before making any decisions regarding your damages or your claim. We are here to help you understand your coverage, answer your questions, and guide you through the process.

Our office is fully open and available to discuss your policies and assist with anything you may need. If you need a place to stop by, we also have plenty of food, coffee, and electricity. You’re welcome to come by, sit with us, and chat.

If you have sustained damage, please remember to take plenty of photos and document everything you can before covering, cleaning up, or making repairs, when it is safe to do so.

We are closely monitoring the weather and will continue to provide updates as needed. At this time, our agency will be open on Tuesday, September 1st, to serve clients and assist with any questions or needs. Please stay safe and use your best judgment when traveling.

10pm Tropical Storm Edouard Update: still remains fairly disorganized this evening. 2 1/2 hours ago, a hurricane hunter aircraft measured a pressure of 1005mb. This is the pressure given at 10pm. Winds so far this evening have not been that impressive, but we will continue to closely monitor the progress overnight as it will likely pulse up over the next few hours. Landfall is still expected early Tuesday afternoon. Stay w/ Your Weather Authority and you'll be ahead of the storm.

It has gotten a little messy in front of the office with TXDot replacing our driveway so if you are trying to access our building, please know it is currently accessible on either side of our neighbor’s parking lots or behind our building on 16th Street. Sorry for the inconvenience.
