to the member-owners. OUR HISTORY
Common Cents Credit Union received its federal charter on August 20, 1963. Originally Goodyear Beaumont FCU, we had an on-site office located at the Goodyear Chemical Plant. In 2004, the name was changed to Texas Coastal Community Federal Credit Union to reflect the decision to become a community owned financial institution and in order to accommodate the growth of members and employees. For many years, TCCFCU has been known for quality service, integrity and commitment to our community. These qualities drove our credit union to grow and be well-respected. In 2016, our name was changed to Common Cents Credit Union. All financial institutions, including credit unions, have changed dramatically over the last few years. Increased competition and financial deregulations have changed how we operate. As a result, we added many new products and services.
