We proudly have three locations: Our Corporate Office is located at 8109 Smith Road in Beaumont, Texas. in Beaumont and our Winnie Branch is located at
120 E. We serve Jefferson and Chambers counties and provide a variety of products and services. Common Cents Credit Union is dedicated to being the primary financial institution (PFI) to its members by providing sound financial services responsive

to the member-owners. OUR HISTORY

Common Cents Credit Union received its federal charter on August 20, 1963. Originally Goodyear Beaumont FCU, we had an on-site office located at the Goodyear Chemical Plant. In 2004, the name was changed to Texas Coastal Community Federal Credit Union to reflect the decision to become a community owned financial institution and in order to accommodate the growth of members and employees. For many years, TCCFCU has been known for quality service, integrity and commitment to our community. These qualities drove our credit union to grow and be well-respected. In 2016, our name was changed to Common Cents Credit Union. All financial institutions, including credit unions, have changed dramatically over the last few years. Increased competition and financial deregulations have changed how we operate. As a result, we added many new products and services.

Power Outage Update: unfortunately Entergy has not been successful getting the Beaumont Branch’s power back on in the timeframe that they stated. We have made the decision for our Beaumont staff to close for the day. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.

Due to the Memorial Day holiday, the branch will reopen for regular hours Tuesday, May 26th. We appreciate everyone’s understanding! Have a safe and happy holiday weekend!

We’ve been made aware of a scam attempt affecting one of our members, and we want to make sure you’re informed and protected!

A member recently received a phone call that appeared to come from our phone number and name. The caller claimed to be a staff member from our I-10 location and told the member their account would be frozen by the FBI unless money was sent within 10–15 minutes.

👉 This is NOT us.

Please know:

We will NEVER call you and demand money under pressure
We will NEVER threaten immediate account closure or legal action over the phone
We will NEVER ask you to move or send money urgently to “fix” a problem
Scammers can spoof caller ID, making it look like the call is coming from a trusted number—even ours.

Hang up immediately!
Do NOT share any personal or account information!!
Call us directly using the number on our official website.

We are taking this matter seriously and working to address it.
