Unfortunately we could see hail that is bigger than the palm of your hand.

This may be a baseball (2.75” in diameter) as the forecast calls for tennis ball (2.5” in diameter) sized hail. So just slightly smaller. But in reality, this will still be damaging either way.

Stay weather aware.

Noon update: Level 3, numerous severe storms, has been *expanded* to the Highway 83 corridor (including Bismarck, Mandan and Minot).
Initial storms developing in eastern Montana and western North Dakota during the late afternoon and early evening hours will be capable of producing very large hail up to tennis ball size, damaging winds up to 70 mph, and a few tornadoes. A line of severe storms could then move through western and into central North Dakota during the evening and early overnight hours. Should this line develop, it will be capable of producing significant damaging winds as high as 80 mph. Then the threat for severe weather greatly diminishes east towards the Highway 281 corridor.

We hope everyone weathered the storm this afternoon. Clients, please email, call, or text your agents with any concerns of damage. Take pictures of any damage before cleaning it up. Also be sure to keep receipts for anything needed to handle emergency repairs as you can get reimbursed for those expenses in some situations.
