Thank you to all who have served.

Today, our MR. ASPHALT family is hurting. We lost one of our employees — a veteran who had been battling addiction and mental health struggles for years — to su***de. He was more than a worker. He was a person with a story, a struggle, and a heart.

With June being Men’s Mental Health Awareness Month, this loss hits even harder. Men are often taught to stay quiet, to be tough, to never show pain. But silence can be deadly.

Asking for help IS strength. Speaking up saves lives.
If you’re carrying something heavy, please don’t carry it alone. If you know someone who might be struggling, reach out. Your voice could be the one that keeps them here.

We will remember him, and we will keep speaking up — for him, and for every man fighting battles no one sees.
