Community Bank of Georgia was excited to celebrate Teacher Appreciation Week this morning by handing out 630 biscuits to the Appling County School System teachers.

We also fed Appling Christian Academy a yummy breakfast for their teachers on Tuesday May 5th. Their staff was very appreciative of the delicious breakfast we provided!

Thank you to ALL teachers for your hard work and dedication to the students in ALL schools of Appling County! We truly appreciate you going above and beyond for our students!! 🌟🌟🌟

Community Bank of Georgia had a BIG night at the Baxley-Appling County Chamber of Commerce 2026 Annual Gala, which featured a "Casino Royale" theme. Kelly Stone, President & CEO was awarded the 2026 Business Leader of the Year. Perry White, Vice President was awarded the 2026 Excellence in Agriculture Award, and Janine Hunter, Vice President was recognized with an award thanking her for serving as the past Chairman of the Chamber Board. We are so proud of them for their accomplishments and it is nights like these that remind us just how special our community really is! Thank you to the Chamber of Commerce and Bryan Shipes for an amazing job bringing this memorable event together!
