Last night Paulin Insurance Associates, LLC and the HomeBuilders SIF joined forces to showcase our world-renowned bowling talents at the Home Builders Association of Greater New Orleans Remodelers Council's annual Rockin' Bowlin' Bash at Rock 'N' Bowl in New Orleans.

Unfortunately, the world remains unaware of those talents.

It was a great evening of networking, friendly competition, and supporting the remodeling industry.

We somehow managed to finish 3rd overall, which sounds considerably more impressive than it probably looked.

Evan came out on fire, opening with a couple of strikes before deciding the gutters deserved a little attention too.

James spent most of the night reminding everyone that bowling is a game of perseverance before catching fire late and nearly putting together a turkey...nearly.

Ricky somehow wandered into the food that was set up for the event after ours. We're still debating whether that counts as networking or catering theft.

By the end of the night our arms were sore, our scores were questionable, but the laughs and fellowship made it a great evening.

Congratulations to everyone who participated, and a big thank you to the HBAGNO Remodelers Council for putting on another outstanding event. We're already looking forward to next year...and maybe squeezing in a little practice beforehand.

But falls remain a major concern, with ladder falls accounting for more than $11 million in claim costs over the past six years. Through proactive loss control support, employee training and claims management, HomeBuilders SIF helps members create safer jobsites and reduce risk.
