IT'S NOT ALWAYS ABOUT THE PIPELINE--- Hurricane Ida roared through south Louisiana with top sustained winds of 150 mph reducing just about everything in its path to rubble. Many people lost homes, belongings, jobs, businesses and hope. Several of our Assurance Mortgage teammates in Houma, Louisiana substantially lost their homes and most furnishings. Our same people, some severely wounded by Ida but resilient as they are, chose to look past their own losses to help those that needed help more than themselves. Our Houma and Assurance Mortgage team raised money and delivered needed essential items, volunteered to visit with those that just needed kind words and prayers and continue to work weekends trying to make a positive difference for families that lost everything. And now the payback is slowly happening for them --- the Houma housing market is slowly rebounding, repairs are being completed and, those same mortgage loan originators are now seeing signs of growing pipeline ----- many of the same people they helped are now bringing them loans, referring clients and making introductions ---- great job Houma and the Assurance Mortgage family --- your good deeds are now slowly being rewarded!
