Want to make sure your ambulance ride is covered by Medicare?

In order for this to happen, you have to be taken to the nearest hospital that can treat you.

Unfortunately, you can’t pick a specific location for it to be covered. It has to be the closest option.

This is one of those lesser-known Medicare facts that can leave you scratching your head and frustrated when you get the bill.
