For over 80 years, the East Baton Rouge Parish Housing Authority has served the needs of low-income citizens by providing affordable housing opportunities for those in need. Our goal is to promote self-sufficiency and encourage neighborhood revitalization while invoking awareness throughout the community. The housing authority impacts more than 14,000 individuals and families, seniors, disabled in

dividuals, and US veterans in the parish. We have proudly earned the US Housing and Urban Development High Performance credential based on comprehensive operations and management.

Our shelves are officially FULL! We collected more than 2,500 books, surpassing our goal.

Thank you to Sydney Simone and Louisiana First News for helping us spread the word, and to Regions Bank , Christian Outreach Center of Baton Rouge , The Purple Cow , and Renaissance Baton Rouge Hotel for supporting this effort and serving as drop-off locations.
