Happy Heavenly Birthday, Maw Maw Braud. 💛

This photo is from 1994 at St. Jude — and that’s my Maw Maw right beside me, where she always was.

She took me to more doctor’s appointments than I can count. She was there for the whole St. Jude journey, and really, for my whole life. When she was in the room, I wasn’t scared. She had a way of making you believe everything was going to be alright.

So much of who I am traces straight back to her — including those three words I live by: Never Give Up. She planted those long before I knew I’d need them.

I love you, Maw Maw. I miss you something awful. And I carry you with me everywhere I go. 🕊️

My road started in a hard place a long time ago — but I never stopped climbing.

This Friday, I start my journey back to Memphis for my 4-year St. Jude Life Study checkup — with a few beautiful, adventurous stops along the way to soak in every mile. 🌄

Lift up everyone around you. Be a beacon of hope when the way feels dark. And no matter how long or steep the road — never stop climbing.

Found this today. An Original Maranto Experience T-shirt I had made over 15 years ago. 🤯

🫡 We stepped aboard the this weekend — and wow. Absolutely incredible.

New Orleans hosted and getting to tour this ship up close was something I’ll never forget. Marine Corps tactical vehicles on the lower deck. V-22 Osprey tiltrotors on the flight deck. An MH-60 Sea Hawk helicopter we actually climbed inside. The ship’s bell. The crest. Sailors and Marines walking the decks like it’s just another Tuesday.

The scale of it — the sacrifice behind it — it hits different when you’re standing right there.

To every active duty service member, veteran, and military family reading this: thank you. What you do for this country is extraordinary.

New Orleans showed out this weekend, and so did our men and women in uniform. 🇺🇸
