FHA or Conventional—which could work for you?

Congratulations to Rob Stewart, Branch Manager of our Lafayette, LA branch, on a big win at this year’s LMBA Annual Conference! 🏆

As part of the LMBA Future Leaders Program, participants were challenged to work in teams to build an independent mortgage bank from the ground up and present their company to a panel of judges.

Rob and his team came out on top, earning the title of 2026 Future Leaders Competition Champions!

We’re proud to have Rob representing Assurance Financial and putting his leadership and industry knowledge to work. Congratulations, Rob! 💙

We’re proud to celebrate six Assurance Financial team members who officially graduated from the 2025–2026 LMBA Future Leaders Program! 🎓

Over the past year, these rising leaders stepped outside of their day-to-day roles to deepen their industry knowledge, build relationships with peers across Louisiana and grow their understanding of leadership, advocacy and the business of mortgage banking.

As part of the program, participants were challenged to put that knowledge into action by working in teams to build an independent mortgage bank from the ground up, considering everything from operations and compliance to production and marketing.

Each graduate also earned the Louisiana Mortgage Leadership (LML) designation in recognition of successfully completing the program.

And a few extra congratulations are in order! Robbie Snellgrove and Chere Daigle were voted MVP by their teams, and Rob Stewart’s team took home the win in the program competition.

We’re incredibly proud to have six members of this year’s class representing Assurance Financial and can’t wait to see how they put this experience to work.
