We need at least 8 more Whole Blood Cell donors and 4 Red Cell donors for our community blood drive. Whether you're a regular donor or it’s your first time -- your donation makes a real difference.

Donors receive a USA commemorative jersey in honor of the United States 250th Anniversary AND a coupon for a refreshing J’s Dairy Inn milk shake. 🥤

Our front entrance in Bath is now open! Special thanks to Graf Concrete Construction, David Smith Welding and Seibert Sealing Striping for helping with our project.
Mother Nature set us back, but it has finally stopped raining for a few days for the safety paint to dry. 🌞

School is out! Next time you hear “I’m bored” from someone in your household, have them roll your pennies and then bring them to Bath State Bank. Our local businesses need change in their cash registers, and it is difficult to get ample quantities of pennies. Although the U.S. Treasury has ceased producing pennies, the existing coin remains legal tender.

If you need coin wrappers – we have them for free. Just stop by Bath, West College Corner or Liberty. We will give you the face-value of 50 cents in exchange for your roll.

Finally, a reason to clean out the cup holder and keep your kids busy at the same time. 🤠

For all who gave their yesterdays, we thank you for your Service on Memorial Day and always. In observance of Memorial Day, Bath State Bank will be closed on Monday, May 25th. If you are registered on our online banking portal, this service is available 24/7. Thank you.

If you have a worn or tattered American flag, we are collecting these for our local American Legion Posts for their Flag Day disposal ceremonies. Please drop them off in Bath, West College Corner or Liberty before June 8th.

✈️Exciting News for Travelers! You can now add “Travel Notices” for your debit card in our Bath State Bank app/Bank by Mouse!

Simply click on the airplane icon under Card Management and follow the prompts. If you travel outside of the Country and plan to use your BSB debit card, you will need to call us prior to leaving. (Note: Business accounts will require a separate profile login to manage debit cards.)

Last year, a record-breaking 32 people donated blood during our Hoxworth Drive in West College Corner. This number included 12 first timers! In all – 96 lives were potentially saved!

Donating blood is a gift straight from your heart. We truly thank those unsung heroes who save lives by donating blood. ❤️

Financial Literacy is every day! BSB employees have been busy helping our local schools with real-life skills. Last Friday, we assisted WRBI Radio with Reality Day for the 8th graders at Franklin County Middle School and St. Michael’s School. Students experienced the everyday peaks and valleys of adult life. Scenarios included making critical choices, selecting careers, budgeting and family life. Students found out how important math really is as they had to maintain an accurate paper check registry.

Earlier this month, we welcomed Liberty Elementary School 2nd graders to Bath for a morning of financial fun. Students learned about the importance of saving and interest, the history of money and the U.S. Mint’s role. We thank the school, the LES teachers and the bus driver for allowing us to educate this generation in the importance of financial literacy.
