FCM, the Citrus Research and Field Trials (CRAFT) Foundation and Triangle Ag Group staff joined growers, researchers and industry leaders in Fort Myers last week for the 2026 Citrus & Specialty Crop Expo. The two-day event focused on sharing knowledge and advancing Florida's citrus industry with discussions ranging from pest and disease management to grove health and planting new varieties. The future is bright with continued collaboration!

Thank you U.S. Department of Health and Human Services Secretary Robert F. Kennedy, Jr, U.S. Food and Drug Administration Acting Commissioner Kyle Diamantas, Congresswoman Laurel Lee, Congresswoman Kat Cammack, Senator Ashley Moody & Florida Commissioner of Agriculture Wilton Simpson for joining us in Lakeland today to announce the final rule modernizing the nation’s standard of identity for orange juice.

This change will lower the minimum Brix requirement, the sugar and soluble solids content in orange juice from 10.5% to 10%. This change will help growers bring more of the Sunshine State’s Vitamin C-rich orange juice to breakfast tables across the country and the world.
