Be Alert of Delivery Scams! Expecting a parcel? Be careful with texts asking you to pay customs charges.

From 1st July 2026, parcels valued under €150 arriving from outside the EU may be subject to new customs charges and fraudsters may use this as an opportunity.
Remember: Never share your online banking login details, password, PIN, card details or One-Time Passwords with anyone.

A genuine Credit Union or bank will never ask you to disclose security codes or approve transactions over the phone.

Each September, CANA awards €2,000 each to two students to help with the cost of third-level education. The bursary is paid directly into the winners’ CANA accounts each year for three years of their college course and the student must be a member of CANA.

CANA Credit Union is delighted to announce that a new mortgage option will be coming soon.

This new product will offer the flexibility of a variable mortgage rate, with the reassurance of a built-in cap. That means the rate will not rise above a pre-set maximum during the first three years, no matter how rates change elsewhere.
The mortgage will be available to first-time buyers, movers and switchers, with competitive rates, terms and loan amounts.

We look forward to sharing more details over the coming weeks.

Applications are now open for the CANA Credit Union 2026 Student Bursary Draw 🎓

Did you know that members can now save up to €100,000 with CANA Credit Union?

• Until 30th September 2026, the limit is €50,000 in Shares and €50,000 in a Deposit Account.
• From 1st October 2026, the Share limit will increase to €70,000, while the Deposit Account limit will reduce to €30,000.

Savings up to €100,000 are protected under the Deposit Guarantee Scheme. Our members savings continue to be guaranteed by the Irish government under the Deposit Guarantee Scheme.
